Ahmedabad Andhra Maha Sabha in association with Rashtretara Telugu Samkhya conducted Padmasri Late Sri Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao Celebrationon 4th December 2022 at KRAOK Studio,Naranpura Ahmedabad from 7PM onwards. Singers participated are Sri Siva Prasad, Smt.Soumay, Smt.Girija Bhanu, Sri Murali Mohan, Sri Subrahmanyam, Sri Ravikumar, Sri Venugopala Rao, Sri Gopala Krishna, Sri P.Venkata Ramana, Mr. Sourabh, Miss. Niharika. Anchor is Smt.Umakalyani.
Andhra Pradesh government also encourages the theatre artists by presenting Nandi Theatre Awards annually.
These prestigious awards boost the morale of stage actors, playwrights, and directors to do more experiments in theatre. It got instituted by Andhra Pradesh Government through AP State Film. Television and Theatre Development Corporation from 1998. It was limited to AP state artists. After a long persuasion Nandi committee allowed Telugu associations residing outside Telugu states also to perform. Ahmedabad Andhra Mahasabha took the opportunity and performed in Drama competitions held in Vizayanagaram in 2017
Ahmedabad Andhra Maha Sabha Participated in Kankaria Karnival from 2008-2013 which was organized by the Gujarat State government in the last week of December month. Kids of various age groups participated in various formats of dances like classical, folk, patriotic, etc.
Kids of people across Ahmedabad working in various organizations participated with keen interest. AMC provided 2 buses from Vikram Nagar to Kankaria venue through various routes.
